Untitled (Youth) is a three-hour performance and installation presented in Lukiškės Prison, a former prison in the center of Vilnius, as part of the group exhibition RAVE NATION. Dancing to the Sounds of Freedom 1992–2004, which was organized by the National Museum of Lithuania and curated by Justė Kostikovaitė and Egla Mikalajūnė.
In a nearly vacant room stands a sole stage riser, here three bodies move slowly to a melody of constantly rising tension. Two strobing lights pierce the space with their brightness. There is no bodily contact among the performers; they exist in isolation Their acts loop in a cycle of ecstasy and collapse A thick haze floods the space, swallowing and merging disparate elements into one unified, continuous surface.
Performers: Dovilė Krutulytė, Žygimantas Julijus Bėrontas, Deividas Vytautas AukščiūnasCurators: Justė Kostikovaitė and Egla Mikalajūnė
Performance documentation by: Monika Jagusinskytė
